Erickson

Otte and Juliana Erickson came to America with all of their children and with their granddaughter Karen Mathiasdatter Danielson in 1866. They may have left from the port of Namsos and arrived in Quebec City, Quebec. Namsos ship records where not kept until 1867. Otte Erickson's parents were Erick Pederson and Kirsty Ingebrigtson. Juliana's father was Ole Ingebrigtson and her mother was Miargrethe Ellings. Otte and Juliana were married on November 16, 1828. Otte filed Declaration of Intent papers to become a USA citizen on June 25, 1870 and received citizen papers on June 24, 1874. The family settled in Jackson County, Minnesota.
